It hasn't taken long for the kids to start using the new table. It's a great place for them to have breakfast in the morning. The sun shines in those windows, and really warms the area. I can see the kids sitting here to work on homework over the years. Sitting here in the sunshine reminds me of growing up and eating breakfast in the sun. I think both of my childhood homes had the kitchen table near east windows where the sun shined in during breakfast every day. Who would have thought this window seat would bring back memories for me? I hope the kids enjoy the new table!
