The lead up to swimming

I mentioned in my last post that Sydney started all the water shenanigans with this.

Well, Tyler helped out by getting Lacy involved.

Which, as you can see, she didn’t appreciate too much.

But she got over it pretty quickly and joined in on the fun herself.

And then Tyler couldn’t help himself, and had to take the plunge, so to speak.

Well, Lacy must have decided it was Talon’s turn to get in on the fun, whether he wanted to or not!  Check out the look on her face here.  Unsuspecting Talon is enjoying himself just chilling on the rocks, and little did he know, his baby sister was out to get him.  Don’t forget, that water was COLD!  Just look at their faces!  So funny!

They’re all in it now!  Let the fun begin!  Sydney was saying here “everyone raise your glass in the air!”  Kathy said, “Sydney, this isn’t Spring Break!”

And that, my friends, is the story of how the kids ended up in the pool (and the “hot cozy”) on Easter Sunday.

Definitely not something I’m used to experiencing during Easter weekend.  In ND, we were always lucky if we the snow had melted by the time the Easter bunny came!  Thank you, AZ sun, for letting my kids play in the pool in April.
