On Friday night, Tyler had a sleepover with Matt and Josh, and Dave was out with his work friends--so that left me and Ava with a night to ourselves. Not really sure what we were going to do, we finally decided to head over to the Mesa Riverview park. We'd been there
once before with Grandma Jean, but not since then. Since it's summer, it's best to wait until the sun goes down to spend much time outside, so we had a late dinner at Subway before heading over. It was great! It wasn't too hot, although it was pretty crowded even at 8:00 pm. It's a great park, and Ava had a good time. Here are a few pictures....

The other good thing about this park is that they have a nice, big splash area. She splashed around for awhile before we headed home.
Since Ava started gymnastics, she cartwheels whenever the mood strikes her--which is quite often! She's getting much better at them too!
We had a fun evening!
