On our first day in town, we headed out to visit the kids' cousins, Danica and Adam. Mary was babysitting her grandkids out at their house while Vanessa and Andy were working. They have a great, huge playroom downstairs, so the kids had plenty to do to keep busy. They headed outside to play for a little while, so I grabbed my camera for the first time. They were just getting ready to landscape their backyard when Andy had his motorcycle accident, so this construction vehicle was in their yard. Of course, the kids just had to go up there and play!
Silly girls! Ava is in a goofy face stage--she always tries to make a silly face before she'll give me a normal smile. This time, I told them both to make silly faces...

The kids found some sort of spider on the ground, so they all had to squat down and check it out.
When we were leaving, the kids had to hug goodbye, and Ava decided to pick them both up and give them a really big hug.
Smiley little Adam! He doesn't say too much, but he sure is quick to give you a big smile!
We're definitely looking forward to spending some more time with these kiddos! Ava and Danica have lots of fun together!
