Fall ND trip: Day 2 at Blacktail

After the birthday party, Jason and Janae invited us out to Blacktail for the evening. The weather was beautiful all weekend, but this evening was about as perfect as it gets. The water was absolutely glass, the sky was blue and the leaves were yellow. It was amazing.
The tried a little fishing, but didn't get so much as a nibble. But, it made for a pretty silhouette in the evening sun.
The kids had the most fun raking the leaves. I think someone was raking pretty much the entire time we were there. They raked the leaves into big piles, and then layed in them, jumped in them, and then raked them up again.
Ava and Danica found a bunch of snails when they were exploring down by the water.

Tyler wanted to be buried, and then he jumped out and surprised Adam.
Where is Tyler??
At one point, he said "he's in there, I can see the leaves going up and down."

More raking....
We found a HUGE frog! It was one of the biggest frogs I've ever seen up there.

We enjoyed a nice dinner up on the deck. Look at that beautiful view!

Thanks for the lovely evening Jason and Janae. You really can't beat a night like that....
